Where will the money go?
All donations (unless you specify otherwise) go into the adaptions fund, to help disabled motorcyclists get back on the road. The costs of running the Association are met from other sources, including our own fundraising. None of the money you donate is used to fund this. Indeed, in the financial year 2009/2010, approximately £35,000 more was spent on Adaptions than was received in donations.
If you are a UK taxpayer, we can claim back the income tax you have paid on the sum you are donating. This increases the value of your donation by around 28%. To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in income tax or capital gains tax must at least equal the amount we will claim in the tax year.
